“A perfect place to stay in the Medina”
Riad Dar Najat

Apr 3, 2009 Dar Najat is a beautiful riad and we were given such a warm welcome thanks to Oliver and Souad, their friends and lovely dog. The riad is so comfortable and tastefully decorated Nothing was too much trouble and Oliver could tell us where to eat, which places to visit and arrange taxis. As we were two women he arranged for us to be met in Djemaa El Fna at night, and so avoid getting lost. The orange juice is brilliant and you must have one meal in and sample the delicious specialities, served in the most laid back surroundings. To come in from the hectic life going on in the Medina was unbelievable another world existed within the four walls. We plan to return with the husbands.

Apr 2, 2009 A very warm welcome as soon as we arrived at Dar Najat from Olivier and his wife, his team and even his dog Brownie, all his good advices on what to visit, which restaurants and Cafés to go to, made us feel like staying with friends or family. What a great experience of having a diner on the roof terrace of the Riad. The meal was made of a fantastic chicken Tajines, all together with Olivier, his friends and others travellers, it has made our stay, my girlfriend and I,even more unforgettable! And above all, the decor of the Riad is real magic!!! We loved it! Fatima and Olivier from London

“The perfect Riad”

Mar 25, 2009 Friend's Review!
They have pet Turtles at the Riad Dar Najat!
Relaxing at the Riad Dar Najat
Getting a good Riad is pretty important. Riad's are the equivalent of American Bed & Breakfasts. The streets in Marrakech are lined with walls typically without many windows. It is kind of hot and dirty. You open the door to the Riad Dar Najat and it is like an oasis! Open courtyard to the sky and typically three floors with a couple of bedrooms on each floor and an open area on top. Marrakech is a very different place for us Westerners. The streets are narrow and twisty and unmarked - so to have Amin or Said from the Riad Dar Najat lead us to our destinations was very nice.
The owner of the Riad, Olivier, is a very enthusiastic and friendly Frenchman who now lives in Morocco. He was the perfect host - welcoming us when we got there and providing us with the best salad we've ever tasted.
